Classic FM’s John Suchet will be hosting a fantastic evening of entertainment by Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Band Portsmouth. Conducted by Principal Director of Music Lieutenant Colonel Nick Grace RM OBE and presented by Seafarers UK, the event promises to be one of the highlights on the classical music calendar.
This evening of delightful classical music is in honour of Seafarers UK’s 100-year milestone in operation. The concert forms part of a series of events in the annual fundraising season and is expected to draw large numbers of classical music lovers from across the country. The ever-popular Royal Marines Band is a favourite among audiences. They will be performing a diverse and enjoyable programme of music for all to appreciate.
Seafarers UK, based in Westminster, is a charity focused on helping people from the maritime community. The organisation provides vital support to seafarers in need and their families. The charity has also provided support for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the Merchant Navy and the Fishing Fleets.
